During the  assembly, the guest speaker explained the evolution of Chinese clothing, from the dignified deep-collared robes of the Qin and Han dynasties, the ornate chest-length skirts of the Tang dynasty, to the graceful aoqun of the Ming dynasty. The lecture also featured students wearing traditional Chinese clothing to experience the splendor of Hanfu and learn about its associated etiquette.
